Irukandji is a continent of private simulators on the Second Life® grid.  The estate is owned by Irukandji VW, a subsidiary of Keppel Net, Australia. 

Irukandji VW has been a leader in the global virtual land market since 2007, developing around $450,000US worth of virtual properties. 

As a result of that involvement and investment, we have gained a rare depth of knowledge and experience in virtual world communities and bringing diverse groups of people together.

BEYOND SL®

While rumours abound about the Australian Government's wish to censor access to virtual worlds and online games via internet filtering, we are unconcerned. 

Governments come and go, and the notion of internet filtering has no support beyond the ultra conservatives.  Technically, the filter can't work and the plan will eventually be scrapped.

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Our interests in Second Life® are located on the Irukandji continent.  Irukandji is a South Pacific "lost kingdom" centred around its capital, Tamita Island. 

The Kingdom of Irukandji is managed inworld by volunteer helpers known as the Princes of Irukandji, and Xay Tomsen (the owner of Keppel Net).

At present we have around one million square metres of properties, around half of which is leased to residents, and the rest is used for public recreation.

We also specialise in content creation, including scripted vehicles, houses, landscaping supplies, waterfalls, boats, marine animals, custom avatars, and clothing.

CORPORATE SERVICES

Irukandji VW also helps real world businesses establish their virtual world presence, to present their wares in a new and unique way to prospective clients.

We can also create RL web enhancements by providing specialised modelling services at our Tamita Island studios, then exporting them to the real world.

Through our parent company, Keppel Net, we also have access to a wide variety of real world business services that integrate seamlessly with our technologies. 

These services include web design, marketing, Google campaigns, business plans, graphic design, sign writing, printing, and physical shop fit-outs.
